I am Sif - 27 years old and living in Denmark. I have been decorating cakes since september 2006 and spent an unreasonable amount of time surfing websites and forums for tips and tricks. I quickly stumbled across the Lambeth technique, and the thing that got me hooked was its reputation for being "extremely difficult". I love all things difficult! When I bred and showed cavies, I bred Dutch, because 1) they were very rare in Denmark at the time and 2) they were one of the most difficult breeds out there. But I bred them and got 3 champions. So here I was, facing the cake decorating world equivalent of Dutch cavies, and went out and bought the original 1936 book on eBay. Then I got hooked and now I have to force myself to use other techniques, so I won't get carpal tunnel syndrome from all the piping.

Chocolate Dutch champion sow. I was so proud of her.

When I'm not up to my ears in frosting, I spend my time with my icelandic horse or I design websites - this one included. Or I cook up a storm and blog about it (in Danish). I love all things cooking and baking, and I hope to be able to sell my cakes one day. Unfortunately you cannot bake out of your home in Denmark.

I have no kids, but I have a very spoiled cat.
